The range of food studies at IU equips students with knowledge and skills in the agricultural and food sector with the goal of driving food production, distribution, and consumption towards proper, viable choices and helping to create a sustainable future for the planet.

Career options for food studies graduates include artisan and industrial agrifood production sectors; food distribution systems; the tourist sector; food education; and non-government agencies and organizations. Some students pursue careers as food entrepreneurs working on individual projects.
