The IU Campus Farm, located on a beautiful historic farmstead property, is your place for learning about food production and sales at IU! With three acres in production under high tunnels and young fruit trees, the Campus Farm sells produce to IU Dining, operates a seasonal farm stand, and has a community supported agriculture (CSA) program for community members.
Students and student groups can plan to volunteer at the farm during regularly scheduled hours, or by planning a visit with the campus farm manager. The Farm is the nexus of hands-on learning and application of food systems work in an academic setting. You can gain experience from farm to fork by applying to be an intern - many skills are needed to run and operate a small farm, including marketing, social media, sales in addition to planting, harvesting, weeding and on-farm maintenance and building projects. This living laboratory is open for learning!
